Kristi's Maternity Shots
Many of you know that my sister, Kristi, and her husband Mark, are expecting their 2nd child in less than a month and we are super excited that they are having a little boy. My niece, Ava, is undoubtedly ready for this new "playmate" as well. My favorite videographer in NC, Poetic Reality Productions, also offer awesome photography as well, and one of the owners, Babs, was kind enough to photograph my sister in all her full-fledged pregnant beauty! Click here to see Poetic's blog about the shoot, or you can also scroll down to see the photos here, as Poetic Reality Productions was kind enough to let me "borrow" some shots!

Jacob Splish-Splashes
Jacob has forever begged to go out and "splish-splash" in the big puddles and since I'm a little anal-retentive about him getting dirty (!) I have always "forgotten" about it. But a few weeks ago, when we got a good dose of rain, the puddles were perfect. So after school one day, I let him have at it! He had a blast and he wasn't the least bit shy about getting wet... try soaking wet! We finished off with a warm bath and he was happy as he could be. Here are some photos I took of his long-awaited "splash session".

Trick or Treat! (followed by heavy breathing sounds!)
Jacob had a good time trick or treating in our neighborhood this past Halloween. He was "Darth Vader" complete with heavy breathing sounds (thanks to technology) and a light saber. He also got to scare up some treats from his special friend, Mrs. Cheryl (see photos). I think he was more excited about that stop than any other! Here are some shots of our scary friend...enjoy!

Cathy and Chris
What fun it was to help Cathy and Chris plan their August wedding!! Their wedding had the best vendors and it was my first time working with a couple of them! inContrast Images was their photographer and they did an awesome job! I have to admit, I'm one of their blogstalkers!! =-) They were so sweet to let me "borrow" some of their photos from their blog to post here. Also, a shout-out to Sweet Basil's for the incredible food and service. Hands down, THE BEST CATERER in the Triad!! I have never worked with a more professional staff and never tasted such fresh, yummy food! If you haven't visited their restaurant here in Greensboro, give Renee a call and reserve a table...the Triad's best, in my humble opinion! Enjoy these shots from this great couple's special day!

Botanica is my "go to florist"! Beautiful again!

Cakes By Manfred provided the beautiful and DELISH cake... now it's a Manfred "favorite" request!
Cathy's brother was her MAN of Honor... sweet! Notice he's proud enough to "carry" the bouquet!

Sweet Basil's yummy handiwork!
Here are some detail shots that inContrast captured! Special thanks to my intern for the season, Heather Carr of Planned and Polished, for her help in making it all come together!

The groomsmen were a hoot...they were taking their job seriously!

Chris is very talented and his band played during a break... Milltown is a "Newgrass/Americana" band...they were awesome and the guests loved them!
