The Denton family (as some of you already know!) has much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving...and here's a cute picture of WHY! This photo was taken of Baby Denton about a week and a half ago...and we are expecting our new bundle of joy and Jacob's little brother or sister in June! Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and your family and may God's blessings continue to give us plenty to give thanks for!

Gant-Joseph Wedding
I love fall weddings at the O'Henry Hotel...especially a fall wedding for an incredibly sweet and special couple who wishes to share their wedding date with my husband and me. Yep, October 11, 2008 was Mary and Gilbert's wedding day and Mickey and I's 1st Anniversary!! The wedding was beautiful and all the gorgeous fall colors really got you in the mood for... well, Fall! Special thanks to Pixels on Paper for letting me post some of their beautiful photos...I got these photos within 2 weeks of the wedding! May God bless your marriage and family, Mary and Gilbert!

Jacob Splish-Splashes
Jacob has forever begged to go out and "splish-splash" in the big puddles and since I'm a little anal-retentive about him getting dirty (!) I have always "forgotten" about it. But a few weeks ago, when we got a good dose of rain, the puddles were perfect. So after school one day, I let him have at it! He had a blast and he wasn't the least bit shy about getting wet... try soaking wet! We finished off with a warm bath and he was happy as he could be. Here are some photos I took of his long-awaited "splash session".

Trick or Treat! (followed by heavy breathing sounds!)
Jacob had a good time trick or treating in our neighborhood this past Halloween. He was "Darth Vader" complete with heavy breathing sounds (thanks to technology) and a light saber. He also got to scare up some treats from his special friend, Mrs. Cheryl (see photos). I think he was more excited about that stop than any other! Here are some shots of our scary friend...enjoy!
